Day 1: Fly to Murchison Falls National Park & Afternoon Boat Cruise
Fly from Entebbe with Aerolink, and upon arrival at Pakwach Airstrip, you will be received by our experienced guide who will brief you about the entire trip.
Drive to the lodge to check in and take some time to relax. After enjoying a delicious lunch, embark on a boat ride to the bottom of the falls for a closer view of the Nile’s most powerful point, possibly the world’s most powerful waterfall.
Here, you will spot several wildlife species such as crocodiles, hippos, and numerous waterbirds, as well as other animals like buffaloes, waterbucks, elephants, and warthogs that come to drink water in the afternoon.
Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking in Budongo Forest & Evening Game Drive
Early in the morning, after breakfast, drive to Budongo Forest, located within Murchison Falls National Reserve, to track our closest relatives in the forest: the chimpanzees.
Chimpanzee tracking in Budongo involves trekking through the tropical forest in search of the chimps, following them and sometimes even running, as chimps do not settle in one place.
Observe these remarkable primates as they leap from tree to tree.
Feel free to take as many photos as you like, provided your camera does not have a flash.
You will return to the lodge in the evening after a brief game drive, then enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Morning Game Drive & Fly back to Entebbe
Embark on an early morning game drive through the park to catch glimpses of numerous wildlife species such as lions, waterbucks, elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, Uganda kobs, leopards, oribis, duikers, topis, and many others.
Following the drive, you will fly back to Entebbe in time to connect with your international flight.
