After an early breakfast, drive to the park headquarters for a briefing about gorilla trekking. You will be assigned a gorilla family and begin your trek through the forest. When you find the gorillas, you will spend one full hour watching them as they feed, play, and move around before returning to your lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, visit the Gorilla Guardians Village, a cultural center run by reformed poachers. The village represents Rwanda’s three ethnic groups; the Twa, Hutu, and Tutsi. You will enjoy traditional performances, taste local food, and learn about Rwandan culture before returning to your luxury Rwanda gorilla lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Drive to Kigali, Fly to Arusha, and Transfer to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, drive back to Kigali, a journey of about two hours. From Kigali, fly to Arusha in Tanzania, where you will be met by your Tanzanian guide. You will then drive to Serengeti National Park, arriving in the evening. Check in at your lodge, have dinner, and stay overnight.
Day 4: Full-Day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park

Expect to see the Big Five: lions, elephants, leopards, buffaloes, and rhinos, along with zebras, gazelles, wildebeests, giraffes, cheetahs, and many birds.
Lunch will be served in the wild before continuing your game drive. Return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Great Migration Viewing and Visit to the Maasai People
After breakfast, head out to witness the great wildebeest migration, one of nature’s most incredible events. Watch as large herds of wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles move across the plains in search of fresh pasture and water.
After lunch, visit a Maasai village. The Maasai are traditional pastoralists known for their rich culture and strong community spirit. You will enjoy traditional dances, songs, and local food before returning to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
