Singita Kwitonda Lodge sits on 178 acres of land in Musanze District, in the northern part of Rwanda. It is about a two to three-hour drive from Kigali International Airport. The lodge features eight luxurious suites, each designed for maximum comfort.

Every suite on this luxury Rwandan lodge includes a private heated plunge pool, indoor and outdoor fireplaces, large timber-framed windows, woven ceilings, clean bathrooms, a dressing room, a veranda, a mini bar, and both indoor and outdoor showers.

The lodge also has the Akarabo Nursery, which plays an important role in Singita’s mission to support the conservation of mountain gorillas. From the lodge, you can catch a glimpse of wildlife in their natural habitats, including various primates that can be viewed clearly through binoculars. You can also follow the trail to Volcanoes National Park, home to many animals such as birds, herbivores, and reptiles. These are often seen near water sources during the dry season, while primates are more active in fruiting trees during the wet season. However, the dry season is the best time to visit because the paths are easier to walk and free from mud.

Before traveling to Singita Kwitonda Lodge, make sure you have all the required travel documents, especially if you are an international visitor, to avoid any immigration issues. If you are bringing cameras or equipment, follow the correct procedures, as failing to do so may lead to fines.
